Vaccine protection for all that is you

Don't wait to get your FLU and COVID-19 shots.

Getting vaccinated is the best and safest way to protect yourself and those around you who may be at higher risk for health complications.

Flu and COVID-19 strains change often, and new vaccines are created to fight the latest virus. If you get the flu or COVID-19 despite being vaccinated, your symptoms will be less severe. It is safe to get a flu shot and a COVID-19 vaccine at the same time.

Members have many options to get a flu and COVID-19 shot

Walk-in at most Kaiser Permanente medical offices — no appointment needed, starting September 3

  • Visit kp.org/flu to find a convenient location. Members may be able to get a COVID-19 shot at the same time and location.
  • Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., September 3 to November 29.
  • Saturdays, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., September 7, September 14, September 21, September 28, October 5, October 12 at the following medical offices only: Aurora Centrepoint, Arapahoe, Fort Collins, Highlands Ranch, Lakewood, Loveland, Rock Creek, Premier, Pueblo North, Skyline, Westminster, and Wheat Ridge.

Appointments

  • Flu shots are available in primary care appointments starting September 3. Members may be able to get a COVID-19 shot at the same time.
  • Starting December 2, schedule an immunization appointment at kp.org.

Important

  • COVID-19 vaccine availability is dependent on manufacturer supply. We placed an initial order for the 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccines for all age groups and expect to begin administering the 2024-25 COVID-19 vaccine by mid-September. Vaccines for ages 5-11 and 12+ should arrive during the second week of September. Vaccines for ages 6 months to 4 years have been delayed, and we expect those to arrive in the third or fourth week of September.
  • The high dose flu shot is available for individuals 65 and older or those with a compromised immune system.
  • KPCO members may get a no-cost flu shot at most Kaiser Permanente medical offices or from a contracted network provider’s office visit while supplies last.
  • Flu shots will not be reimbursed if received at a retail location.

It’s common for seasonal viruses to surge in the winter. If you find yourself getting sick every winter, you’re not alone. To stay well, get vaccinated and practice healthy habits.

Please remember to help members close their care gaps — and close your own.
